SA government delegation meets with institute’s education team
The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants is set to play a leading
role in providing training in finance, accounting, management consulting and
other financial services to staff in South Africa’s Labour department.
The institute welcomed a delegation from Fasset, the Sector Education and
Training Authority for Finance and Accounting, to its London headquarters
yesterday.
Commenting on the visit, Samantha Louis, regional director, CIMA Southern
Africa, said: ‘CIMA has been active in Southern Africa for over fifty years. We
remain committed to helping educate finance professionals who can then go on to
reinvigorate the economy and increase South Africa’s global competitiveness.’
