Amusement arcades group enters administration

A gambling amusement arcades business that employs more than 500 people has
entered administration.

Joint administrators from
Baker
Tilly
have been appointed to adult gaming centres operating mostly
under the ‘Agora’ or ‘Caesar’s World’ brands.

The four companies involved are Ablethird Ltd, Frankice (Golders Green) Ltd,
Leisure World (UK) Ltd and Caesar’s World Ltd. The latter three control the 100+
gaming centres.

“This is a very well established network of businesses with a considerable
number of well-located outlets. We hope to achieve a sale of the business as a
going concern and would like to hear from interested parties,” said Baker tilly
partner and joint administrator David Hudson.

Lawyers from
LG are
assisting the administrators on the appointment.
