Audit committee shake-up at Centrica
Centrica board changes will see Margherita Della Valle replace Andrew Mackenzie as deputy chairman of the audit committee
MARGHERITA DELLA VALLE, non-executive director at Centrica, has been appointed as deputy chairman of the audit committee.
She replaces Andrew Mackenzie, who will take up a new post as deputy chairman of the corporate responsibility committee at the energy group.
Mary Francis, senior independent non-executive director, has stepped in as deputy chairman of the nominations committee, while Della Valle will stand on the corporate responsibility committee from 1 September 2011.
Della Valle is group financial controller of Vodafone and was chief financial officer of the group’s European region from April 2007 to October 2010.
