Big Four firm meets careers advisors to highlight options available to students
A GROUP of 60 careers advisors met with PwC at an event for the firm to promote and explain the various options open to students to join the business.
The advisors, from a mix of state and private schools in the greater London area, were told about PwC’s A-level, internship and graduate programmes.
In a poll, all the attendees said that A-Level entry schemes were just as valid an option towards a professional qualification as going to university. Just 10% think employers are doing enough to help students make informed decisions.
“Any employer that wants to ensure they’re recruiting the best student talent needs to have a range of choices available,” said Richard Irwin, PwC head of student recruitment.
For us, that means continuing with the great investment in graduate recruitment but also offering a compelling proposition for those students who want to join us straight from school or through our partnership degree programme.
