DAVID CHALLENGER has been elected as the new president of the UK200 Group.
Challenger, a partner at Cardiff practice Watts Gregory, becomes the professional services organisation’s first Welsh president.
He worked in business before joining Ernst and Whinney in 1978, joining Watts Gregory five years later. Challenger now specialises in business support and strategy, change management and continuous improvement.
The association must “move forward with active involvement for our member”, said Challenger.
“It will always be a numbers game – we need critical mass and to extend our presence in areas like Scotland and south-west England – but UK200 must continue to be a quality driven organisation.”
The UK200 Group, formed in 1985, helps provide member firms with a range of services, and gives them broader coverage through the use of the network.
