Goldmans audit head joins RBS

The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has appointed Nicholas Crapp as head of group internal audit.

Crapp joins RBS from Goldman Sachs, an investment bank, were he was international director of audit since 2008. He joined Goldman Sachs in 1993 where he has done financial and control jobs.

Crapp, who will join RBS in February, will report jointly to Brendan Nelson, non-exec chair of the audit committee and to group finance director, Bruce Van Saun.
