Former PwC chairman steps up to the top non-executive role at investment managers
FORMER PwC head Kieran Poynter as stepped up to the chairman role at F&C Asset Management.
Poynter, who served at PwC for 37 years and in the last eight as chairman and senior partner, joined F&C Asset Management in 2009 as a non-executive.
Since 2009 he has served on the investment management’s audit & compliance committee and a member of the nomination, remuneration and risk committees. He steps down from these positions, besides the nomination committee, in his new chairman role.
Poynter has taken over from Edward Bramson, who has stepped down with immediate effect.
Among his achievements as a practitioner was being a key figure in the merger of Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand in 1998.
