Iris software introduces secure data collection checklist
Latest software updated to include latest tax upodates
THE LATEST iteration of Iris’s accountancy software IRIS Accountancy Suite v11.4 includes new e-checklists allowing accountants to securely request and collect personal tax data from their clients online.
The Suite, is made up of several elements including IRIS OpenSpace, usually used by clients, and IRIS Personal Tax, Practice Dashboards and Accounts Production all usually used by accountants.
The e-checklists, essentially an electronic checklist for the client, sees users provide details of the current financial year’s income and reliefs and add any relevant attachments into the IRIS OpenSpace software. The e-checklist and attachments are then transferred back to IRIS Personal Tax for verification by the accountant.
In addition, enhancements have been made to improve and simplify client interaction; faster reporting in IRIS Accounts Production; IRIS Practice Dashboards improvements and new micro-entities reporting requirements associated with The Small Companies Regulations 2013.
The latest tax regulations introduced in April 2014 have also been incorporated to the updated software.
The e-checklist has proved popular for IRIS user Fawcetts Chartered Accountants which said this tool will help them interact with their clients better without having to send paper-based checklists.
