Hamlet joins the association of independent accountancy/business advisory firms after six years with BKR International
IAPA has appointed Stephen Hamlet as CEO after the retirement of Susan Humphry following more than a decade in the role.
Hamlet joins the association of firms after six years with BKR International, where he served as regional executive director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
He will be active in his new position from 1 July and according to IAPA’s website, was welcomed into the association at their regional European conference earlier this month.
Of his appointment, Hamlet said: “I am delighted to have this opportunity to lead IAPA into the next phase of development.”
“My particular focus will be on consolidating membership in key business locations, maximising membership benefits through promotion of the IAPA brand, and the development of an expanding range of practical services to encourage new business generating opportunities for our members.”
Helmi Talib, chairman of IAPA, commented: “Stephen’s experience will bring new ideas and energy to our association, helping us to build on IAPA’s past successes in terms of membership growth and professional interaction between our member firms.”
