Ex-KPMG techie joins Deloitte as financial services partner

Lees will advise general insurance and retail bankers on how to better use new technology and digital strategies
FORMER KPMG technology specialist Andy Lees has joined Deloitte as a partner in its financial services team.
Lees joins from Capgemini, where he was UK CEO of its financial services business. Prior to this, he worked for Atos Consulting as a managing partner, after spending many years at KPMG in its IT advisory business. At Deloitte, he will advise general insurance and retail banking companies on how to change their businesses to better use new technology and digital strategies.
David Rush, head of insurance at Deloitte, said: “Andy has a proven track record of creating innovative new technology solutions for the businesses he works with. With the fintech revolution gathering pace across financial services, his expertise will greatly help our insurance and banking clients.”
Lees said: “This is a very exciting time for the financial services industry. We are seeing a significant level of operational change in the big players, particularly when it comes to incorporating new technologies.”
