BOLTON Wanderers’ continuing fight to avoid administration in the High Court has been granted a further stay of execution following an adjournment until March 21.
Solicitors representing the Sky Bet Championship side appeared at the High Court on Monday to run through the plans for a buy-out of the club by a consortium led by former striker Dean Holdsworth.
Registrar Clive Jones refused a winding-up petition from HMRC, which had asked for Bolton to be wound up after over a £2.2m tax bill.
The Trotters recently announced that it had sold its training ground to Wigan Athletic.
