CVR Global expansion in Southampton

INSOLVENCY and restructuring firm, CVR Global, has opened a new office in Southampton with a new senior partner appointment.

Matthew Fox, partner at CVR Global, said: “We’re delighted to have opened the new office and to welcome Simon [Lowes] to the firm.”

Simon Lowes is a licensed insolvency practitioner with more than 30 years’ experience in the insolvency and business recovery sector. He joins Matthew Fox as CVR Global’s second partner based in Southampton. Lowes has worked for both national and regional insolvency and recovery firms based on the South Coast, covering all aspects of corporate and personal insolvency.

Fox continued, “Simon is a highly experienced insolvency practitioner who we have known for some time and he will play a key role expanding our operations in Southampton, Hampshire and the wider South Coast region.”

Lowes, who in recent years has assisted businesses in the manufacturing, marine, retail, property and leisure industries, added: “It is an exciting time to join CVR Global, with the team continuing to grow and with the expansion in Southampton. Having been a business owner myself, I understand the pressures and challenges that need to be overcome.”

The firm was formed in 2015 following the management buyout of the business recovery division of accountancy firm Chantrey Vellacott.

Fox concluded, “The firm has grown considerably since the launch last year and upgrading to a bespoke office in Ocean Village [Southampton] was a perfect fit for us.”
