Mazars has announced the appointment of Michael Tripp as the new head of financial services
Michael Tripp is the new head of financial services at Mazars.
He has more than 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, holding roles as a senior executive and a consultant. He was a CEO of Ecclesiastical Insurance for six years, and before that a partner with EY and Watson Wyatt.
Phil Verity, UK senior partner at Mazars, said: “Michael’s experience and leadership will be an additional asset to the team through his proven ability in helping the firm to capitalise on the increase in activity in the market.”
This appointment comes as Rudi Lang will be dedicating more time to his role as the leader of the firm’s Global Financial Institutions Group.
Tripp said: “I aim to build on our cohesive proposition to deliver the high levels of service our clients expect from Mazars. I would also like to thank Rudi for leading the team so successfully.”
Mazars UK currently has 21 dedicated partners, supported by over 300 professionals. It is ranked ten in the 2016 Top 50+50 Survey, supported by Sage.
