THREE NEW PARTNERS have been appointed at Sagars, taking the total number to eight.
The partners are (pictured left to right) Susan Seaman, Ali Jones and Paul Lodder; all long-standing members of the Sagars team in Yorkshire.
Chris Jones, managing partner, said the promotions were “fully deserved”. “It is unprecedented in Sagars’ history to appoint more than one partner at a time. We now have 90+ team members with clients across a wide range of sectors.”
Lodder first joined Sagars as a trainee accountant, after graduating from York University. He is qualified as a chartered certified accountant, specialising in business and tax advice to owner managed businesses and the legal profession. He is currently leading Sagars’ development of cloud accounting services for clients.
Susan Seaman joined Sagars from Mazars in 1998, providing audit, transparency, tax, and business improvement advice to varied SME business clients, focusing on farming, pension schemes, charities and not-for-profit organisations. A chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser, Seaman is heading the firm’s graduate recruitment and professional development programmes.
Ali Jones joined Sagars from PwC, having originally qualified with EY (then Ernst & Young). Jones is leading Sagars’ business consulting, corporate finance and governance advisory services, supporting family and owner-managed businesses, professional practices and not-for-profit organisations.
Chris Jones added: “Our three new partners have a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to our firm and we’re delighted to announce their promotions.”
