EY has appointed Patrick Bossert as the head of its UK Infrastructure Asset Intelligence practice.
Bossert joins the firm from Network Rail. At EY, he will be responsible for asset intelligence strategy and digital business transformation across the UK, with a focus on central government, transport and infrastructure.
Bossert said: “I am delighted to take on this role and for the opportunity to help a broader range of clients get the most out of their infrastructure investments and contribute more to economic growth as part of the UK’s industrial strategy.
“Harnessing better asset intelligence helps control risks, reduce costs for asset owners and can give greater autonomy to staff on the ground. It also supports new models of infrastructure finance, which can drive much-needed transport capacity enhancements.”
Amanda Clack, head of Infrastructure Advisory at the firm, said: “Patrick brings immense experience and knowledge that will help us to grow our business in a sector facing huge financial pressures and increasing capacity challenges.”
