Rakesh Shaunak became a partner at MHA MacIntyre Hudson in 1995 following five years as a senior manager at BDO.
After 10 years as partner, he was appointed to the firm’s management board ahead of becoming group chairman in 2011.
As chairman, he is focused on driving growth and development of the firm, working with commercial clients and developing talent. He is also the managing partner of the firm’s education unit.
Shauank has a particular interest the leisure and hospitality sector.
He is a qualified member the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Shaunak steered MHA MacIntyre Hudson to 10.9% growth last year, closing in on 15th position in the Top 50+50 Accountancy Firms rankings. Can he lead the firm to further growth this year?
