Who are the speakers?

Beth McLoughlin has recently joined as managing editor of Accountancy Age. She was previously online editor at Petroleum Economist, and spent five years in Brazil as a foreign correspondent, working for organisations including the BBC, Sky, Voice of America, US News and World Review and The Guardian. Beth began her journalism career on local papers, before moving to national titles including The Sun.

Lucy Skoulding works as a senior reporter at Accountancy Age and has also been a reporter on Financial Director. Her journalism career began five years ago when she worked as a student journalist alongside her degree in English Literature from Warwick University. Since then she has gained experience at i Paper, The Lady, and The Guardian as well as freelancing for a range of publications, such as Metro and Women in Journalism. Lucy recently put her passions to use in co-authoring her first novel, which was published in June 2018. She has been with Accountancy Age for nearly a year, having joined in December 2017.
