Green is the new black - UHY unveils new brand identity
National accountancy group UHY Hacker Young has unveiled its new brand identity. The rebrand is part of the global brand refresh of the UHY International network of accountancy firms, of which UHY Hacker Young was one of the two founding members.
Under the new identity, UHY firms in the UK and worldwide will adopt the single UHY name as their brand logo, strengthening the power of the brand across the globe.
“In this rebrand we were keen to avoid the standard blue colour scheme used by the majority of accountancy firms. The vibrant greens now truly reflect strength, prosperity and appetite for growth – not just of UHY Hacker Young but of our clients too,” says Colin Wright, Chairman of the UHY Hacker Young Group
UHY Hacker Young now comprises a 900+ strong team working across 20 offices nationally and is one of the only leading UK firms that is truly purpose-led.
The UHY International network now covers 96 countries, employs more than 9,700 professionals and is the world’s 19th largest international accountancy network.
“We’re proud to have built such a strong UK group where all our member firms are committed to being people-first, and driven by our purpose of helping you prosper. That applies across all that we do for our teams, our clients and our local communities,” says Wright.
“We believe our independent group structure is what allows us to focus on providing the best possible service for our clients. That is supported by national resource and technical specialists, plus a solid portfolio of real sector specialism and insight.”
The new logo features a striking shield icon, symbolising the agility clients need and the protection the firm delivers. The bold stripes curve upwards and forwards reflecting the ambition that drives UHY Hacker Young’s growth and its mission to propel clients’ businesses forward and help them prosper.
The new brand identity – including a bold new green colour scheme and logo – is a major departure both from UHY Hacker Young’s previous branding and from the traditional branding that is common in the accountancy profession.
