In the UK, 90 percent of accountants and bookkeepers identified chasing clients for late payments as the most common awkward client situation they encounter. On average, accountants and bookkeepers encounter awkward situations of chasing clients for payments and clients not being billed for out-of-scope work almost every week, with one third encountering these awkward client situations several times a month.
