UK holds conference on effects of Enron

The conference, ‘Enron and Auditor Independence: A Practical Guide for UK Companies and their Auditors’, will take place in London at the end of April and aims to bring together the profession’s most senior figures.

Colin Reeves, director of the Accountancy Foundation Review Board will chair the conference. He will be joined by US Financial Accounting and Standards Board member John Foster, who will give insights into what actually happened at Enron and MP Jim McFall, chairman of the House of Commons Treasury select committee, who will explain how Westminster views the Enron situation.
