Northern Ireland Social Development Department accounts have been heavily
qualified by Ulster comptroller and auditor general John Dowdall.
This is in relation to benefit frauds and errors involved in losses totalling
£120.4m, weaknesses in financial control regarding nearly £67m in urban
regeneration, and development grants and accounting system deficiencies
concerning a further £46m.
