The Hong Kong Institute of Certified
Public Accountants – or the ‘tute’ as it is calling itself is using a rap
recruitment video to attract new recruits to the profession.
The Tute has made a two-minute video called ‘Tute in da House’ which,
according to The Guardian, is rapidly moving up the charts on website
YouTube.
In the video a group of accountants in business suits rap –‘I c tell you I’m
a person of repute/It’s all because I belong to the ‘Tute.’
The video along with a relaunch of its magazine are all attempt to throw off
the image of the accounting profession as being dull and boring.
