The taxman’s chief financial officer has quit after just a year in the role.
Stuart Cruickshank, who joined HM Revenue & Customs as CFO in December
2006, will leave in March to take up a number of public and private roles.
His remit was to strengthen and re-focus HMRC’s finance and planning
function, in which he has been ‘very successful’, acting chairman Dave Hartnett
said in a statement.
The search for his successor will begin shortly and comes at a time of great
change at HMRC.
