The US tax-man is looking to help tax payers struggling to meet their
commitments due to the economic crisis.
The Internal Revenue Service will offer some payment flexibility to
tax payers, which could include deferrals or adjusting payments.
Its free online filing system will be expanded to practically all tax payers,
reported
WebCPA.
Due to housing market uncertainty, it will also consider not necessarily
relying on previous real estate valuations to judge a person’s ability to pay.
