Premier
Foods chairman David Kappler is stepping down after six years in
the role.
Kappler, a chartered management accountant and former Cadbury Schweppes FD,
has chaired the Oxo to Homepride business since it floated in 2004.
He has seen a number of big acquisitions made in the past few years, while it
has also reduced its debt through equity fundraising.
Jim Smart joined the group in October as CFO, from the same role at Friends
Provident.
