Former RSM Tenon tax chief Andrew Jupp has joined Haysmacintyre in the same
role.
Jupp takes on the head of tax role at the firm from 1 September.
He left RSM Tenon
earlier
in the year after it ditched the role, preferring “heads of
discipline” within its tax department.
“To attract such a high calibre and well-known name in the profession
demonstrates our increased presence in the market-place and our commitment to
providing proactive and commercial tax advice to our clients,” said
Haysmacintyre managing partner, Simon Wilks.
Jupp’s appointment takes the firm’s number of partners to 24, with some 160
staff.
Jupp was formerly a PhD research scientist, before moving into accountancy
with Ernst &
Young.
