The Insolvency Practitioners Association has announced that its licensed
insolvency practitoner numbers has passed the 500 mark.
Paul Bates, a partner at BDO in Leeds, became the 500th person holding an IPA
licence, a record for the IPA.
Carl Faulds, IPA president, said the body had also seen a record number of
candidates sitting its exams this year.
“This augurs well both for the future of the profession and growth of the IPA
as a significant professional body in the field of insolvency in the UK,” he
said.
