Profession licensor the
Insolvency Practitioners
Association (IPA) will hold several roadshows for its members to discuss the
future of key issues, such as fees and changes to regulation.
The meetings will be chaired by IPA president Carl Faulds, who will be joined
by chief executive David Kerr and head of regulatory standards monitoring
Michelle Butler.
“We have to address concerns raised by the OFT in their recent report
including the future structure of regulation, how we handle complaints about our
members and the issue of fees,” said Faulds.
“By going to major business hubs around the country I want to take the debate
to our members and examine with them how we can evolve to address these
challenges and improve our working practices.”
The road-show, sponsored by
JLT
Partnership Practice, will take place in Southampton, Leeds, Birmingham,
London, Manchester and Glasgow. They will start in mid-October and end in early
December.
