NORTH LONDON-BASED firm Berg Kaprow Lewis (BKL) has appointed Doug Sinclair as director of tax investigations, where he will specialise in managing serious fraud enquiries and disclosures.
Sinclair (pictured), who joined the firm on 2 April from Crowe Clark Whitehill, has over 25 years’ experience in the field, working first as a HMRC tax inspector before moving to the private sector, where he worked at PKF and KPMG.
David Whiscombe, senior tax partner at BKL, said: “This is a key appointment for us – Doug’s experience and skills in the field of tax enquiries is the perfect foil to our expertise in more technical areas and will mean that the full range of tax services is available under one roof.”
