XERO has launched a redesigned version of its Touch app for Android as it seeks to meet Google’s material design standards.
Google’s standards aim to “develop a single underlying system that allows for a unified experience”, and Xero claims its latest iteration of Touch is “simpler” and “more consistent”.
Touch on Android features include a dashboard providing a summary of bank account information, the state of invoices and receipts; menu links to invoices, receipts, contacts, files and more; bank reconciliation on the go; expense and receipt management using photographs and; invoice management.
The Android app is used by more than 36% of Xero small business owners and accounting providers worldwide.
Xero chief product officer Angus Norton said: “We’ve included extensive feedback from our Xero Android users to ensure that it focuses on the tasks and details that are important to them.”
