BAKER TILLY RYAN GLENNON is to become an RSM member firm in Ireland.
The firm will leave the Baker Tilly International network and join RSM, re-branding as RSM. Subject to regulatory approval, the move will go live 3 May 2016.
Headquartered in Dublin, Baker Tilly Ryan Glennon has two other regional offices and since its launch in 1987, has grown to 12 partners and 120 employees. The firm said it will recruit 20 new staff this year and plans to expand its workforce by 50% over the next five years.
The moves follows Baker Tilly’s decision to leave Baker Tilly International and join RSM. The top ten firm joined the RSM international network in April 2014, following its decision to leave its eponymous network Baker Tilly International.
Baker Tilly International eventually replaced their firm with MHA MacIntyre Hudson in October 2015.
Jean Stephens, CEO of RSM International (pictured), said: “It is critical that we have a strong firm in Ireland that can support our delivery of global client services, particularly with Ireland’s largest trading partners – the US and the European Union. However, it is equally important that firms are a seamless fit with our network and are fully aligned with our strategies and vision for the future.”
