Domino’s Pizza Group plc has announced its intention to appoint PwC as external auditor, replacing current auditor EY.
EY will continue to audit the pizza group until the financial year ending 30 December 2018. The Big Four firm netted £434,000 from Dominos in 2016, according to Domino’s financial report, of which £186,000 was for non-audit work.
PwC was selected as auditor following a competitive tender process, and will be formally put to shareholders at the company’s Annual General Meeting in 2019.
EY was recently selected to audit Standard Chartered bank.
