Former Royal Mail group FD joins Fiberweb
Ian Duncan to chair Fiberweb's audit committee
THE FORMER Royal Mail group finance director has joined Fiberweb as a non-executive director.
Ian Duncan joins the materials maker as chair of its audit committee. He will also serve on its remuneration and nomination committee.
Duncan served as group FD of Royal Mail Holdings between 2006 and 2010, having served as corporate finance director at British Nuclear Fuels. He also worked in Pennsylvania, US , as CFO and senior vice president of Westinghouse Electric Company.
The Deloitte-qualified chartered accountant also chairs the audit committees of WANdisco and Mouchel.
“With his strong operational and financial background in large service and engineering businesses, I look forward to his contribution to the future development of the Group,” said Fiberweb chairman Malcolm Coster.
Stephen Dryden, group FD of DS Smith, steps down from his non-exec role at Fiberweb.
Coster added: “I would like to thank Stephen for his considerable service to Fiberweb and his major contribution to the Company in the development and implementation of its strategy. Stephen has been a robust and involved director, effectively chairing the audit committee through a period of significant change at the group.”
