ICL to become a recognised training practice
The consultancy practice of ICL has applied for IMC Recognised Training Practice (RTP) status. ICL will now undergo intense scrutiny of its induction, assessment and training of consultants. Other RTPs include Coopers & Lybrand, IBM, BDO Stoy Hayward, Collinson Grant, Hay Management Consultants, Morton Hodson, Orr & Boss, PA Consulting, Price Waterhouse and Towers Perrin. IMC introduced the concept of RTP some 10 years ago in order to give formal recognition to good quality training programmes for recently recruited consultants. RTP status helps consultancies to attract and retain top class people whilst reassuring clients that their training is endorsed by IMC. Consultants employed by RTPs are also entitled to fast track progression to full membership of IMC, ie they are able to apply for Full Membership after three years’ consultancy experience compared to the standard five. For more information contact Jean Garner at IMC.
