PW's global push hits record high
Price Waterhouse, which has achieved the highest revenues in the firm’s history this year, aims to triple its revenues over the next four years. The firm’s total worldwide revenues were up 13 per cent from last year to US$5.02bn at the end of June 1996. Worldwide fee income from consulting services increased by 20 per cent to $1.2bn.
Its intention is to work on a global basis rather than on select projects and as part of this it is looking to acquire firms and to go into joint ventures.
“We are already looking at a combination of international growth through any manner of joint venture agreements and strategic acquisitions, but there is one thing we are not contemplating and that is getting together with one of the Big Six,” a Price Waterhouse spokesperson said.
The firm’s other objective over the next few years is to concentrate on global projects and servicing clients in the Fortune 500 category.
