Visit the new VNU Web site
Management Consultancy’s publisher, VNU Business Publications, has revamped its Web site, making it easier for users to browse for items of particular interest to them.
The revamped site, (http://www.vnu.co.uk), gives readers access to the full breadth of VNU magazines and news sources. As well as all the latest news and features in Management Consultancy, there are reports and articles from VNU’s other finance and management titles, Accountancy Age and Financial Director. For anyone after more IT-related items, VNU’s own daily technology newswire is available free of charge with news of all the latest developments in the computer industry around the world.
VNU’s IT industry magazines, Computing, What PC?, Personal Computer World, Business Computer World, Information World and Computer Contractor, are also there to be accessed. The site is free, and readers only need to register their details when they log on to the service for the first time.
Thereafter, access is via a password of their choosing.
After logging on, the “mag.net” logo appears and gives visitors a range of magazine icons to click and then sections of each – news, features and specialist areas. There is also an e-mail facility for contacting the editorial teams.
Users can build up their own “user profile”, so that mag.net automatically finds items of interest, and can also build up their own profile on job.net, VNU’s vacancy database.
