Lasmo measures time with Tempo
Oil exploration and production company Lasmo is rolling out a time and expense recording system to its global subsidiaries.
Tempo Time & Expense and Fee Billing software was initially installed at Lasmo’s London headquarters during the summer. It is used by 200 staff to record the time spent on different exploration projects. ‘We wanted front-end accountability and to minimise errors and delays from inputting 200 manual forms,’ said Andy Craig, Lasmo manager of financial systems development. ‘The program matches timelines to budget codes – giving us flexiblity for reporting and further analysis.’
Craig said that the firm intends to link the software to its Coda and Sun Systems accounts packages.
The start price for a single-user Tempo time recording system starts at #2,500.
