    Just caught sight of your article on Blind Date (Taking Stock, 5 April).

    Thought you might like to know I have now been so traumatised by the press attention, I have emigrated to France to lead the life of anonymity in Paris!

    I can, however, exclusively reveal that being an accountant is no longer the social handicap it once was, and that Lisa and I are now great friends.

    (Although romance is a bit difficult as I’m working all hours, hence I am writing this e-mail at 12.30am, while trying to finish a report.) Thanks for your kind comment in Accountancy Age (better than some I’ve had), glad to see there is more than just FRSs and other technical stuff in an accountancy magazine.
