TakingStock - George, best man for the job.
It appears the ACCA has appointed a man used to holding court with celebrities, following the appointment of Hertfordshire-based George Auger as its next president.
For the man who steps into boots previously worn by Moyra Kedslie, is well known in insolvency circles, but arguably even more so for his role as a trustee to the stars.
Auger is understood to have managed the bankruptcies of legendary footballing namesake George Best twice, ‘Oliver’ composer Lionel Bart and music hall comedian Max Wall.
TS wishes George good luck, and hope his 12 months in the role leaves him feeling like he has himself been a star.
