The Professional Contractors Group will get another chance to get IR35 legislation abolished when its resumes its fight with the Inland Revenue tomorrow.
The case is being heard in the Court of Appeal, and runs until Thursday.
The PCG, which has taken up the fight on behalf of contractors, lost to the Revenue in April, but is says its lawyers has advised it that it has a ‘good case’.
Spokeswoman Susie Hughes told AccountancyAge.com: ‘We always felt IR35 was unfair. We are pleased the court is going to have a look at our case.’
A representative for the Inland Revenue told AccountancyAge.com in October it would ‘strongly contest the PCG’s appeal’.
