Two stand for VP of ICAEW
Two institute council members are standing against each other in the election for vice president of the ICAEW, it was announced today.
Both Paul Druckman and Nick Parker have thrown their hats into the ring for the position, which will effectively mean taking over as president of the institute in two years time.
Paul Druckman is the chairman of the institute’s IT faculty, while Nick Parker, the director of tax at BKL Tenon, is the members’ directorate chairman.
Both candidates have called on the institute to put last year’s internal wranglings behind it to become an effective representative of the profession.
The result of the contest will be announced on 6 February following a ballot of institute council members.
