Enron man defects

One of the PricewaterhouseCoopers' administrators working on the collapse of Enron has defected to rival firm Deloitte & Touche.
Neville Kahn, who was one of four PwC partners appointed to unwind Enron’s European operations, is expected to move to Deloittes by the early summer.
The move will be seen as a coup for Deloittes, which is currently embroiled in the collapse of ITV Digital, the pay-tv broadcaster.
Kahn was one of 42 partners in PwC’s business recovery division, mainly working for its lender services department. At Enron, he was tasked with unwinding the collapsed energy company’s trading book, a task now largely completed.
A spokesman for PwC said Kahn’s departure would not have an adverse affect on the business. ‘There’s bound to be some movement around the place from time to time,’ he said. He added the practice was having a record year and was set to appoint partners in the summer. Kahn came to prominence in 2000 when, along with Enron administrator Tony Lomas, he was appointed as administrative receiver to fraud-hit Versailles Group.
