The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund, has won Charities Annual Report and Accounts Award in the 'over £2m' category.
Judges said the charity’s accounts were well-designed and thoughtfully laid out. ‘It combines a lot of serious material with interesting presentation, restrained but attractive use of colour,’ they added.
Other winners included The Wishbone Trust Cycle West in the category of charities with an income of less than £100,000 and RefAid which won the ‘between £100,00 and £500,000’ category.
The winners will receive £2,000, at the awards ceremony presented by Sir Brian Jenkins, who has announced he is stepping down after six years as chairman of the awards.
The awards ceremony, sponsored by the ICAEW and the Charities Aid Foundation,take places this evening at the Chartered Accountants’ Hall in London.
