    Viz publisher gets swallowed

    Choice Publishers has announced that it has bought out rival magazine group I Feel Good, set up by former Loaded editor James Brown and publisher of cult comic Viz.

    The deal, pushed through by Ernst & Young’s corporate financiers, will see Choice take up the all of the available shares in the company for 8 pence per share, valuing the offer at £5.1m.

    The Dennis Group, of which Choice is a subsidiary already owned a 6.57% steak in IFG.

    IFG’s current portfolio, which features Bizarre, Fortean Times and Jack as well as Viz, will be incorporated into Choice’s current offerings.
