Draycir predict huge upsurge in partners

Draycir's Sage agreement should double its channel partners
Financial software vendor Draycir claims it is on target to more than double
its channel partner network within a year, after signing a joint marketing
agreement with Sage.
The agreement covers the co-promotion of Draycir’s flagship product, Spindle
Professional document management software, in the UK channel by Sage.
Robert Ball, managing director of Draycir, said: ‘Draycir has had a mutually
beneficial relationship with Sage for some time, and our software products are
adding value to Sage’s accounting solutions. The agreement will ensure Spindle
Professional is available to as many new and existing Sage Line 100 and Sage
Mid-Market Solution (MMS) customers as possible.’
Sage will demonstrate Spindle Professional as part of its face-to-face sales
process.
In April, Draycir told CRN that it wanted to boost its current 100-strong
channel to more than 250 partners within the next year. Ball said things were
‘going slowly but steadily’.
‘It takes a while to introduce yourself to new partners and sign them up, but
we’ve had another 50 to 70 partners join Draycir since April, and probably have
another 50 waiting in the wings. The Sage agreement should help us boost our
channel partner network further,’ he added.
David Pinches, director of Accounts and ERP at Sage (UK), said: ‘Spindle
Professional has already established itself in the portfolio of many Sage
business partners, so it makes sense that this relationship should be developed
in this way for the benefit of both organisations.’
