CIPFA graduates of diploma in public audit can use DPA after their name

Students who gain a diploma in public audit with the Chartered Institute of
Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) will now be entitled to use the
designatory letters DPA (CIPFA) after their name.
The DPA, which was launched in May 2003, was developed to bridge the audit
skills training gap within the public services. Students who take the dual-level
qualification do so through day release tuition at CIPFA-accredited centres in
the UK.
CIPFA announced this week that DPA (CIPFA) may be used as designatory
letters.
The CIPFA DPA is currently offered by: Liverpool’s John Moores University;
CIPFA Northern Ireland; and CIPFA Education and Training Centres in London,
Birmingham, Bristol and Edinburgh.
