High profile exec moves across professional bodies
Des Hudson, former chief executive of the Institute of Chartered Accountants
of Scotland, has been named as the new head of the Law Society, which represents
126,000 solicitors in England and Wales.
Hudson had been chief executive of ICAS since the beginning of last year.
Hudson is a qualified solicitor. Before joining the Scottish institute he was
chief executive of Scottish Media Group’s publishing division and managing
director of Britannia Life in Glasgow.
