ACCA's new ethics module forms part of the institute's qualification
ACCA has launched an ethics module as part of a revamp of its qualification.
The module, which incorporates learning online, is part of a drive to make
ethics ‘pervasive’ in the institute’s exam syllabus.
‘Ethics and professionalism are interconnected, and with our new
qualification all ACCA members will be expected to meet our definition of a
professional – a highly technically skilled individual subject to ongoing
regulation who is governed by a defined set of principles and who crucially
works in the public interest,’ said Clare Minchington, ACCA’s managing director
of education, learning and development.
The module is one of the requirements for membership for any students
registered after 1 January, 2007.
