US tax man allegedly gave a false valuation on a property sale to lower his tax bill
A US tax official has been arrested at Los Angeles International Airport for
tax fraud and obstructing an investigation into a tax return.
Jim Liu claimed on his tax return that he had suffered a loss on the sale of
property when he had actually made a profit, reports
WebCPA.
The indictment alleges that he provided false documents and statements during
an IRS audit of his return.
