ALBACS technology gives property management company greater flexibility over payment options and more control of processes
The Crown
Estate has purchased electronic payment software from
Albany
Software, providing it with greater flexibility and control of its
payment processes.
The Crown Estate, with real estate and marine portfolios worth more than
£6bn, has moved its payments system online. The payment process is simplified as
the system is securely accessible at various workstations at any time, and eases
administration with in-built workflows.
David Spratt, senior business systems analyst at The Crown Estate, said the
impmentation of ALBACS cs gave the group remote access to the system
from any of its UK offices, increasing flexibility.
“This gives us a significant amount of flexibility as authorisation to
process a payment file may need to come from a different location to the
accounts department where it was originally created.
“Albany has delivered a secure and reliable payment platform for The Crown
Estate. The upgrade implementation of ALBACS cs was done in a day and
has provided much needed agility as well as greater control over our payment
processes.”
